It cannot be stated enough, however, that in this article all figures apply to a specific point in time. Given the high volatility of everything associated with BTC, the figures can change rapidly. When growth rates change by factors of fives and tens, the snapshot figures are exactly that. Any changes to any of the assumptions pertaining to these figures will change the analysis. The basis of the calculations and the thought process, however, remain the same and should give the reader some data points with which to analyze the underlying value of BTC.
